Saverio Nestico

As Westhaven Groups Chief Investment Officer, Saverio monitors investment activity and works with external analysts to ensure compliance with established standards and best practices. In addition, he also defines investment policies for both short and long-term growth. Saverio’s focus is to actively manage investment funds to deliver exceptional value and maintain strong investor relations with a focus on building solid and sustainable partnerships for the future.

Following the successful completion of a Bachelor of Arts from York University, a Master of Business Administration from Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario), and is a Certified Public Accountant. Saverio has spent over 25 years building an impressive career in finance and operations. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated he is an innovative thinker, focused on achieving results for the clients he serves without ever compromising his strong sense of ethics and personal integrity. Most recently, Saverio was a Judicial Officer (Justice of the Peace) for the Ontario Court of Justice, with his appointment to the bench in 2007. In this role, he presided over all provincial regulatory bodies, while ensuring that the rights of the individual were respected at all times.  

Currently, as Chief Investment Officer, Saverio brings to Westhaven Group strong interpersonal skills that have been developed over decades of building and coaching teams. He also has extensive experience in managing projects, successfully negotiating disputes, as well as assessing and mitigating risks through the application of both tested and innovative techniques.
