Manga Hotels Enters Early Stages of Downtown Toronto Growth Phase

1 min read

There is no doubt that this past year has taken its toll on the commercial real estate industry. One of the hardest hit, the hotels and hospitality sector faced uncertainty due to stringent health and safety regulations, reducing occupancy levels and thus resulting in a loss of profits. As we start to see the light at the end of the tunnel, Manga Hotels is leading the pack to turn downtown Toronto into a tourist hotspot once more.

The Canadian company is involved in the acquisition, development and management of high-quality residences and hotels. They have recently entered the early stages of their most ambitious growth phase, a downtown Toronto property currently under construction with four more hotels planned.

Manga Hotels President and Chief Executive Officer Sukhdev Toor stated, “We have faith in the city and have a long-term view. It’s a world-class city, and we think that after this COVID thing is over that people will travel, and there will be pent-up demand because people are tired of sitting at home.”
